Dr. Doug Muscott

Dr. Douglas Muscott

Dr. Douglas Muscott is a native of Ionia, Michigan. He was a student in the Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University. He excelled and was awarded early admittance into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His childhood dream was to be a Dentist.Dr. Christine Muscott is originally from Eastpointe, Michigan. She graduated Salutatorian of East Detroit High School and was awarded a Merit Scholarship to Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. It was her own family dentist who inspired her to become a dentist. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with her DDS degree.

Dr. Christine and Doug met in Ann Arbor as dental classmates. They married shortly after graduating and worked for Dr. Christine's family dentist. Their dreams of opening their own family practice came to fruition in the fall of 1986 with the start of Muscott and Muscott Family Dentistry in Ionia. After 15 years, the practice grew and they needed a bigger facility. A new building was built right next door. The practice was named Muscott & Muscott Dental Health Center PLC. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Doug and Christine saw the need for another dentist to help treat the growing patient family. In the summer of 2006, the doctors were thrilled to have Dr. Natasha Cusack join the dental team.

Dr's. Doug and Christine have two wonderful children Ryan and Lauren who are in college. In their free time, the doctors love traveling, camping, and being members in their Fancy Feast Supper Club in Ionia. The doctors are members of the ADA, MDA, West Michigan Dental Association, and Detroit District Dental Society. Dr. Christine also volunteers at the Heartlands Dental Clinic at Ionia High School.

The doctors embrace newer technologies such as the laser, Cerec CAD/CAM porcelain crown system, and take numerous continuing education courses to stay abreast of other current dental treatments.




Dr. Natasha Cusack

Dr. Natasha Cusack

Dr. Natasha Cusack is originally from Grand Rapids. She graduated Valedictorian from Grand Rapids Central. She attended the Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University where she graduated early with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Dr. Cusack received her DDS at University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She went on to work at a dental clinic for 4 1/2 years. She and her husband moved to the Ionia area after getting married in 2006. In the fall of 2006, she joined Muscott & Muscott Dental Health Center PLC.  She has 3 beautiful children that fill her days with joy!  LIfe is very busy but rewarding!

Dr. Cusack is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, West Michigan Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists, and Michigan Oral Health Coalition. In the past, she was a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and on the Board of Directors for American Association of Women Dentists for four years. She is currently on the Advisory Panel and volunteers regularly at the Heartlands Institute for Dental Occupations at Ionia High School. Dr. Cusack likes to be active in the community. She was on the March of Dimes Committee for the Ionia walk.

Dr. Cusack puts emphasis on helping individuals with limited access to dental care. In the past, she completed mission dental work in Haiti and volunteered at a dental mission clinic. She loves doing dental health month presentations for classes. She worked in the past at a mobile dental unit for migrants in Sparta. She also enjoys volunteering with the Heartlands Dental Program at the Ionia High School, which is a fantastic and rewarding experience.

Dr. Cusack loves the opportunities available as a dentist at Muscott & Muscott Dental Health Center. She maintains that her patients experience the newest technology, utmost comfort, and a great relationship throughout their dental treatment!
